iC-MFL is an integrated 8-channel level adjustment device driving N-channel FETs. On single errors the output stages switch to a predefined, safe low state. iC-MFL monitors the supply voltage and disrupted ground connections in order to guarantee the safe low state of the output stages in the event of error. On two outputs of different logic states being short circuited, the safe state predominates and keeps the N-channel FETs in a safe state. The device is protected against destruction by ESD.
