iC-PG is an advanced optical-reflective absolute encoder IC featuring integrated photo sensors and an integrated blue LED. Typical applications are rotary knobs and electronic potentiometers. The device requires only a single 5 V supply voltage without any need of further configuration. iC-PG provides a capped 5-bit Gray-coded parallel output signal with 30 positions and 12° resolution. The remaining two codes are reserved for error indication like power-down, low-contrast, and read-error.
