iC-LO is a SOC for diffuse reflective photoelectric sensors based on the principle of triangulation.
iC-LO requires only a LED, a low-cost microcontroller and an output driver.
The comparator signals, programmable filter and multiple measurements generate the output signal.
The very high dynamic range is solved by the dynamic gain with a logarithmic characteristic that is adjusted to the intensity of the received light.
The programmable integrated LED driver directly controls timing and current.
