The iC-MBE is a BiSS/SSI interface master with high-speed SPI and on-chip RS-422 transceiver suitable to implement BiSS/SSI master functionality into any device or platform. Up to eight sensors or actuators can be connected. Two physical BiSS/SSI channels enable single-ended communication via internal CMOS and TTL transceivers. Alternatively, one differential BiSS/SSI interface with on-chip RS-422 transceiver can be enabled. iC-MBE is designed for a supply voltage of 3.3 V to 5.0 V and comes in a space-saving QFN16-3x3 mm² package.
